~Fed Up with Am Ex: I have a card through my company. About a year ago, we were issued new cards and AmEx has never gotten it right. They told me I have an outstanding balance but no matter how many times I tell them I've reconciled the charges with the payments, they repeat the same line. I've tried to explain that *)the payment* charge history is directly from their site, *) I'd like to have someone review the account. Instead I got some person (whose english wasn't good), telling me he isn't going to reconcile my account and that I owe them money. **This is exactly why I tell anyone who listens, AmEx is one of the worst cards to have and deal with.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting American Express. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a American Express problem?
~Fed Up with Am Ex: I'd give them a five out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Fed Up with Am Ex: I'd give them a two out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about American Express's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Fed Up with Am Ex: For that I would say three out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other American Express customers?
