~Abused_by Belkin: Belkin tech support is being handled by iYogi. I was unable to connect with the internet through my Belkin router. When I got in touch with iYogi I allowed them remote access to my computer. After a while the tech gave me a story about my computer's registry having so many errors that he was unable to do a diagnosis. The "correction" would require purchasing a tech service package ($***-$***). I declined. This call wasted an hour of my time. I was covered under Microsoft's tech support package at $*** for * year, so I called them. Microsoft tech support fixed the problem in about ** minutes. THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH MY COMPUTER'S REGISTRY. iYogi, working for Belkin, was dishonest, unhelpful, and only interested in selling sevice package (and lying to do so).
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Belkin. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Belkin problem?
~Abused_by Belkin: I'd give them a five out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Abused_by Belkin: I'd give them a two out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Belkin's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Abused_by Belkin: For that I would say three out of five.

~Abused_by Belkin: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Belkin to know who you are.
