~Anonymous: Yup. It was late at night, on October 21st.

GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's CareFirst customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~Anonymous: This is THE WORST customer service I have seen. The website will not let me register my online account and you cannot send an email to member services without an online account. So I had to call. After wasting my lunch break on hold, a person (so I thought) finally answers. "Hello this is Joanne. Please tell me your name so I can assist you." I say my name. "Hello this is Joanne. Please tell me your name so I can assist you." I say my name again. "Hello this is Joanne. Please tell me your name so I can assist you." I shout my name, getting irritated. "Hello this is Joanne. Please tell me your name so I can assist you. Hello? I is anyone there?" I shout YES! MY NAME IS... Nothing. This went on for longer than I'd like to admit. SO here I am, fuming, and still no online account. But they know I don't have a choice..this is my employer's insurance provider, so what does it really matter if they have good customer service?
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting CareFirst. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a CareFirst problem?
~Anonymous: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Anonymous: I'd give them a three out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about CareFirst's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Anonymous: For that I would say two out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other CareFirst customers?
~Anonymous: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for CareFirst to know who you are.
