GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's DirecTV customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~guido: I do not understand why the TV service providers bend over backwards to get you to sign up. Then after your contract is up the quality goes way down and cost goes up over **%. It seems if they have loyal customers they would want to keep them. Direct TV is just as bad as Dish or Comcast in opinion. I wish there were a TV service provider that gives customers a good deal at a good price without the hassle of having to change providers. Just figure how much time and money they spend on a new customer, if they simply kept them they would save mega bucks.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting DirecTV. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a DirecTV problem?
~guido: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~guido: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about DirecTV's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~guido: For that I would say two out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other DirecTV customers?
~guido: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for DirecTV to know who you are.
