~Jen: I only waited ** seconds to one minute for someone to answer, if that. The lady who answered did not understand that all I needed was to report a suspicious email requesting $****.** in order to receive an undisclosed amount of money. The only complaint I could make was that she was hard to understand and had no idea what I was talking about. She did kindly transfer me and the gentleman I spoke with was not only kind but took my information quickly and ensured me that there was an ongoing investigation and that the specific email address I gave him that was sent to me would be added to said investigation. I spent a whole * minutes on the phone and was happy with the results. Even if all I did was make a report that nothing is done about, he at least seemed to be knowledgeable, courteous, and understanding of this type of situation.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Equifax. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Equifax problem?
~Jen: I'd give them a three out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Jen: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Equifax's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Jen: For that I would say three out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Equifax customers?
~Jen: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Equifax to know who you are.
