GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Equifax customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~angry consumer: The customer service rep refused to give me a digital copy of my credit report as allowed by law. (Annual credit report is dysfunctional, and therefore not an option.) He said that he would be willing to send me one by mail which I should receive in ** business days (two weeks). This presents an impossibility for me because I am supposed to close on my loan in * days. I asked him to cancel a dispute which I initiated and he refused to do so.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Equifax. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Equifax problem?
~angry consumer: I'd give them a two out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~angry consumer: I'd give them a three out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Equifax's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~angry consumer: For that I would say four out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Equifax customers?
~angry consumer: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Equifax to know who you are.
