~Anonymous's review of Expedia customer service
GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Expedia customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~Anonymous: I work front desk at a hotel and Expedia had messed something up on their end that resulted in no reservation coming through to my arrivals. Called THREE times to get this resolved so that I did not have to charge my guest's credit card a second time, since Expedia is a pre-paid party, and nothing was done about it. All three people were very rude and basically kept repeating what I was saying. The FOURTH time, the actual guest called and got hung up on. They would not even refund her money. RIDICULOUS.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Expedia. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Expedia problem?
~Anonymous: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Anonymous: I'd give them a three out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Expedia's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Anonymous: For that I would say four out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Expedia customers?
~Anonymous: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Expedia to know who you are.
GetHuman: Well there you have it. Some useful feedback and words from ~Anonymous taken from his Expedia customer service problem that occurred on November 19th, 2017.
