~John: My experience was bad with Hotwire, I had relied on them in the Past, they used to do a good job, at least that's what I thought.*recently in one of my trips they had booked a hotel with the wrong number of beds.*I called so many times with the hope they would correct it, it was one bed instead of * beds as I had * children with me & my wife.*The reservation was at a hotel in NYC. the rating was supposed to be * stars or at least * *** . The lady at the counter laughed when I asked her about the rating.*She replied we are no star hotel, you were booked the cheapest & smallest room by hotwire. I was shocked actually by her comment.*Another hotel I asked if it had a pool, the customer rep at hotwire, said the hotel has one, I meant an indoor hotel ,It is winter why would I even ask about an outdoor pool.*I meant an indoor pool. I booked * days in that hotel thinking it had an indoor pool, Boy was I wrong.*When I called them about the mistake they made in the booking, they had to take * w

~John: I'd give them a one out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~John: I'd give them a one out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Hotwire's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~John: For that I would say one out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Hotwire customers?
~John: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Hotwire to know who you are.
