GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Hotwire customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~anonymous: All agents are in the Phillipines. Bad connection and they don't abide by the US rules.*They give you the best deal on hotels that are under construction and have no pool and they don't disclose that. But when you want to cancel, they refuse even though it's their responsibility as a so called "TRAVEL AGENCY" to provide with the best service. Don't deal with them. You cannot contact their customer service at all. Deal with a company that it is US based always.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Hotwire. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Hotwire problem?
~anonymous: I'd give them a three out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~anonymous: I'd give them a two out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Hotwire's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~anonymous: For that I would say three out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Hotwire customers?
~anonymous: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Hotwire to know who you are.
