GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Kaspersky Lab customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~CBHamaker: Kaspersky*There is a real problem with your tech support out of India. Many companies suffer with the same problem.*I have had years and years of experience with tech support out of India and I have drawn some conclusions. These are stereotypes that are mostly true. *The people in India have a real problem with telling the truth. They lie, try to BS you and try to put up smoke screens when they can't explain things. They do all these things constantly. It appears that the Indian culture simply accepts deception, dishonesty and BS as a normal part of life and the normal way of doing business. These people will do anything and say anything to avoid telling the plain truth. The truth might be-- "I don't really know". "Give me a few minutes and I will try to find out". Those things will never be said. Instead, they try to talk in technical terms in an attempt to confuse you rather than answer your questions directly --especially if the answer to your question makes them look bad.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Kaspersky Lab. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Kaspersky Lab problem?
~CBHamaker: I'd give them a three out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~CBHamaker: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Kaspersky Lab's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~CBHamaker: For that I would say five out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Kaspersky Lab customers?
~CBHamaker: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Kaspersky Lab to know who you are.
