~Concerned client: Here is my experience with a receptionist at the LabCorp in Fullerton, CA on **** Sunnycrest Dr. *****. This was my first visit there around **:** am on Wednesday July *rd, ****. I was a walk-in (phone was no longer in service to make a reservation!). First, there were no patients waiting in the lobby compared to LabQuest and I thought that was strange and I found out why!* The front desk lady, Kelly, was very unprofessional. While she was doing my paperwork, she was talking about her personal matters to her colleagues at the same time as I waited patiently. Afterwards, she told me that one of the tests that I needed to get done was not handled at this lab, so she called my doctor's office to inquire the info. She talked on the phone with one of the nurses at my doctor's office right in front of me and mentioned that the handwriting on one of my tests was different from the others and that the patient (me) could have written on it herself! ~Concerned client: I'd give them a two out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about LabCorp's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Concerned client: For that I would say one out of five.
