~DanaR: Spoke with a guy named CLayton. He stated that even though it is a Nikon camera and they are Nikon I need to call the *rd party where the camera was sent for repair. He said the phone * is either ***-***-**** or ***-***-**** he is not sure I should try both numbers. The camera in question is a Coolpix AW*** advertised as waterproof up to ** feet* however the camera went black after not even being in the water properly. Nikon is false advertising this product and is also not standing behind their faulty product instead they try to blame the consumer for the garbage they sell which they call a waterproof camera.

~DanaR: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~DanaR: I'd give them a one out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Nikon's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~DanaR: For that I would say one out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Nikon customers?
~DanaR: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Nikon to know who you are.
