~Cher: Received letter from OK Tax Commission on ******* stating they were unable to verify compliance of OK taxes and that my nursing license may not be renewed. They mailed it to my TX address, as I have been a TX resident for over three years. Over *** tries via phone resulted in "Too busy", so I emailed that I was not an OK resident and asked them to correct their information. I received a second letter yesterday, *******, a "Final Notice" and was told me to call them or I'd lose my license, pay penalties and interest, etc. I tried calling for hours and finally got through, only to wait twenty more minutes. When a man finally answered I was, with just cause, livid. I told them they had done something rather stupid and the guy said "We'll see who the stupid one is. What's your SS*?" Taken aback, I asked for his name and he refused to give it to me since I called "with an attitude". I was furious so he hung up on me.....causing me to attempt communication for another two hours.
