GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Orbitz customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~AlixinDC: Due to some really bad information from the Canadian government website, we had a visa issue at the gate of Air Canada (booked through Orbitz). The Orbitz agent couldn't be more helpful and worked with us to try to resolve the problem before the flight left. That wasn't possible as we had to work with the airline but Ariane stayed on the line with us as we called on another phone to Air Canada and miraculously got a human agent (also very helpful) to speak too. Ariane from Orbitz walked us through what we needed to ask and what we needed to say to get our ticket available to us for future travel or - hopefully - refunded as only Air Canada could make this decision. While the problem was not resolved ***%, the customer service was excellent.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Orbitz. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Orbitz problem?
~AlixinDC: I'd give them a two out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~AlixinDC: I'd give them a three out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Orbitz's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~AlixinDC: For that I would say two out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Orbitz customers?
~AlixinDC: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Orbitz to know who you are.
