~James: My Bluray disc player needs a firmware update. I called Panasonic several months ago and they said they would charge me $*.** to give me the update. After I agreed to that they said they would call me back and they never did. Two weeks ago I went online to try get the firmware. If you download it yourself, there is no charge. I tried to download it but it didn't work. I sent customer service a message and they said they would respond within ** hours. They never did. I did the same thing last week, with the same result. Today I tried calling CS. After waiting ** minutes, I heard the phone on the other end ring once and then it went dead. Panasonic is clearly too big a company to install the proper customer service that cares about its customers.

~James: I'd give them a two out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~James: I'd give them a three out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Panasonic's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~James: For that I would say four out of five.

~James: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Panasonic to know who you are.
