~colin_m: I absolutely hate using the Paypal automated system. It is the least customer-friendly system I have encountered. Instead of getting routed directly to help I have to go through far too many hoops. I MUST enter my phone number and I MUST select multiple submenus before I am even put on hold. **Guess I'm not surprised by the facelessness of Paypal. Their parent company is ebay, which is just as bad, if not worse.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting PayPal. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a PayPal problem?
~colin_m: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~colin_m: I'd give them a one out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about PayPal's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~colin_m: For that I would say four out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other PayPal customers?
~colin_m: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for PayPal to know who you are.
