This was their compensation for my current trimmer that had died after maybe ** uses over * years (expired warranty). **% off Norelco's website price was, to the surprise of exactly nobody, still more than Amazons. Did not really expect them to offer much (mission accomplished), but I should think a $** trimmer would last a couple hundred uses at least.
