GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Post Office customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~Jami: I tried to mail a letter today that required hand cancelling but the employee said I had to pay $*.** for this service. I have never before been charges a $*.** extra. I told the woman that this is something I do all the time and, in fact, she has done multiple times for me but she explained she could not do it. This same woman "greeted" me at the PO a month or more ago by rolling her eyes and saying, "not you again" as I approached. Today I told her how hurtful that was and that, given the current financial situation of the USPS, I was appalled at the poor service I was receiving. No wonder you are struggling if this is how you treat your customers.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Post Office. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Post Office problem?
~Jami: I'd give them a one out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Jami: I'd give them a two out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Post Office's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Jami: For that I would say one out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Post Office customers?
~Jami: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Post Office to know who you are.
