~john: when I purchased my unit from hhgreg, free map was supposed to be included with the purchase. the application is on the device, but tom tom will not allow the map updates unless I pay extra for the software. this is nuts! Whatever deal tom tom made with hhgreg, they need to honor it with the customers. Hands down! Tom tom refused to honor the free map update upon purchase deal offered at HHGreg. Tom tom offered a **% discount off the purchase for the map update service. Are you kidding me!

~john: I'd give them a three out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~john: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about TomTom's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~john: For that I would say three out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other TomTom customers?
~john: Try to deal with them early in the day or later. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for TomTom to know who you are.
