GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's VitalChek customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~tomcincinnatus: I would give them zero stars if I could. They asked for additional verification, fair enough, I don't expect them to issue birth certificates to people without valid documents. We faxed the Notarized Affidavit and Vitalchek responded by saying that they were awaiting additional documents. I called and spoke to "Cindy" she said the the "document checkers said that the Notary stamp was 'blurry' and please fax a better copy. We returned to our bank and had the document Notarized again and faxed again. This time the Vitalchek said the stamp was too faint, and maybe it would be best if we mailed an original. We went back to the bank and had a third document Notarized with a specific effort to produce a "clear and readable" Notary stamp on the document. Two bank Notaries agreed that the stamp looked clear and readable, we mailed the document. Apparently the people at Vitalchek have vision problems....the mailed original wasn't good enough either. We've given up. The whole purpose was to get

~tomcincinnatus: I'd give them a four out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about VitalChek's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~tomcincinnatus: For that I would say five out of five.
