GetHuman-q1438: AOL: Always Outrageously Lousy
GetHuman: Can you tell the rest of us a bit more from what happened on 11/23/17?
GetHuman-q1438: AOL, financial strength by ignoring customer service. I pay more than $** a month for decaying service--**, ** minute or no response at all. Signed up for the "HELP ME NOW" service. They don't get the "NOW" part. Paid-for marketing that looks like news--it ain't. Dumbing-Down everything they touch. Right after the merger, reaching tech support became slower and then impossible. ?They reduce overhead by firing service & support people. *Execs got their big payoff from the merger. They became an advertising agency operation--Money ain't funny, it's serous business. *Don't ever be fooled by what AOL offers or what they say, and your lucky if they say anything.......-
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting AOL. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a AOL problem?
GetHuman-q1438: I'd give them a three out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
GetHuman-q1438: I'd give them a two out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about AOL's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
GetHuman-q1438: For that I would say five out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other AOL customers?
GetHuman-q1438: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for AOL to know who you are.
GetHuman: Well there you have it. Some useful feedback and words from GetHuman-q1438 taken from his AOL customer service problem that occurred on November 23rd, 2017.
