~anonymous: I called to cancel service and was informed of an early cancellation fee. The salesperson who came to our door and sold us the service said there was no early termination fee when I specifically asked (I was keen on this detail since I knew we would be moving within the year). The representative on the phone told me they sent that bit of info. in an email, which I have no record of ever receiving (I did receive one on the same date, but just my *-digit passcode reminder). I was duped, and they didn't rectify the situation. I will never go back to ATT.
