~sjp: This phone number to Amazon worked great. However my experience was poor due to inadequate resolution of a problem with my non-functioning Kindle. All I hear is how fantastic Amazon and Kindle are with their customer service. This was the second time in as many months that I have been shuttled from one representative to another (* this time!!) only to be left frustrated and unhappy with the resolution and experience. Next time I will not be getting a Kindle, will stay with my Apple products and get an iPad if this is the level of quality Kindle represents. My kindle worked a grand total of approximately ** hours, hardly the expectation one would hope for from such a well known brand.

~sjp: I'd give them a five out of five for ease of finding your way to help.

GetHuman: And what about Amazon's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~sjp: For that I would say five out of five.

~sjp: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Amazon to know who you are.
