~Walter Lamar: The *st time we had any contact with American Home Shield was when our upstairs AC unit was freezing up. It took them * days to get a contractor out to fix the problem, which wasn't to bad since it was before it started getting really hot. Then about * months later I was out of town and water started leaking out of our fire alarm and ceiling fan in one of our bedrooms. it took another * days for a contractor to be dispatched and once he was he found that the drip pan of our downstairs AC unit was the problem. He wrote it up and we had to contact them to find out when they would be back to replace the pan. We were told it would take * to * days for parts. My wife called * other AC companies and was told they could have it the next day. When they finally arrived to replace the pan they had the wrong part. The AC guy said he would call the shop and have them bring the right one out. So at this point we asked I thought it took * to * days to get the part. The service tech told us
