~jigsy: Very poor customer service. Had many claims that they kept billing me for. Was put in collections for a bill that had been paid by secondary insurance. Have a bill from ******* that I can't get billed to secondary insurance. I paid the bill. Was told since I paid it I couldn't get my money back. Too long. Our secondary insurance needed prescriptions for medical necessity. Even though Apria said they had the prescription they never sent to secondary insurance. I finally went to doctor and got prescriptions and mailed to secondary insurance. I have spent many hours on phone and postage to send information to get this claims corrected. I feel like I'm an Apria employee since I'm doing there work. I would cancel my service if it wasn't that our local Apria is so great and also the district manager. Senior citizens that don't understand the billing system I am sure are just paying whatever Apria sends them a statement for.

~jigsy: I'd give them a one out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~jigsy: I'd give them a two out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Apria Healthcare's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~jigsy: For that I would say three out of five.

~jigsy: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Apria Healthcare to know who you are.
