GetHuman-selah17: Bank has account frozen, is telling customer they committed a crime because their account was violated by foreign criminals.
GetHuman: Can you tell the rest of us a bit more from what happened on 11/22/17?
GetHuman-selah17: On Christmas Eve, a woman who works for us was contacted by BB&T banks. She was called up to * times a since, bank claimed she gave information to foreign thieves who wired money into her account and took it out, twice. They went on the attack instantly, no questions, no customer service. This woman had her ID stolen, bank insisting she is a criminal- interestingly never called police themselves. Refusing to lift freeze on her account, we have tried to help her this week- BB&T gives everyone the run around, promises someone will call to take care of it, turns down appeal, only her taking an ' overdraft', accepting this stolen money as a loan will make them happy. They have threatened to steal her husband's work check themselves until all money is recovered and we believe them. This family will be homeless, evicted, their electricity turned off, a * year old grandchild homeless, and a woman ha already attempted suicide. NO ONE will listen, help and do anything but be seriously nasty with this crime victim. They continually insist this nice, working class female was some mastermind criminal- and she is the victim.We're already getting our money out, thankfully BB&T only has a few accounts of ours. We only stayed when Susquehanna left because we very much liked the people employed at our local branch. We thought we'd wait around and see what the new company was like. Now we know. It is despicable

GetHuman-selah17: For that I would say four out of five.
