~J.E.: I bought a NOOK travel book on china which had glitches and had to be sent back to publisher to be downloaded again. As my trip is approaching rapidly, I asked Paulo to exchange it for a different book on china as I didn't have time to wait the * weeks for the problem to be corrected.**the problem is with their ebook and the service rep said that they can't exchange the problem book for another book on China. I've had the book for a month or *, but didn't realize the extent of the problem until recently. when I asked fr a supervisor, Paulo said that the sup would say the same thing. Thankfully, the sup had some sense and refunded my money and I can now buy a different book. the whole process took abut ** minutes. I'm not impressed with their customer service.

~J.E.: I'd give them a five out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~J.E.: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Barnes & Noble's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~J.E.: For that I would say five out of five.

~J.E.: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Barnes & Noble to know who you are.
