~iseepinkelefants: I know I bought a ticket from a third party (which is all BA could keep repeating to me) but they refused to have anything to do with me. I called them * times over ** hours before my flight to let them know I would not be on it. I contacted the janky travel agency Getaway ASAP numerous times, the travel insurance company, I contacted American Express, everyone and their grandmother knew I wouldn't be on that flight. I finally get a response from the travel agency that I didn't cancel the flight and as such I lost the ticket. I TRIED telling BA numerous times I would not be on the flight, they refused to listen to me. Now I am out $*** and unable to return home. I've emailed them pleading for help, no response. I submitted complaints to the Department of Transportation, Attorney General in California and Texas, Better Business Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission. I'm sure they'll get away with it because no one could give a toss but I am so angry that they can get away with this. T
