GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Consumer Reports customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~AuntMarge: Review is for my whole CR experience. Except for the wait, this call seemed to go well. But I'm surprised to feel like I was scammed by Consumer Reports. I subscribed a year ago when car shopping. Looked at a couple of other products afterwards, and found the reviews not helpful. Never opened my CR emails touting their products. Apparently they warned me they were going to automatically renew my subscription, but I of course didn't know until I saw the charge on my bank account. There is NO PHONE NUMBER!!! listed on their website. What kind of "Consumer" organization is that?? You can email them, which I've done twice and got no response. Thankfully I found this website GetHuman, and should see a refund by tomorrow.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Consumer Reports. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Consumer Reports problem?
~AuntMarge: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~AuntMarge: I'd give them a three out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Consumer Reports's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~AuntMarge: For that I would say five out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Consumer Reports customers?
~AuntMarge: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Consumer Reports to know who you are.
GetHuman: Well there you have it. Some useful feedback and words from ~AuntMarge taken from his Consumer Reports customer service problem that occurred on November 13th, 2017.
