GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's DirecTV customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~SaraFrey: Called two days in a row. Signal problem still not fixed. They force you into doing their troubleshooting tips which any idiot would have already done. Then when those don't work they tell you have to pay $** for someone to actually fix the problem or you have to pay $* per month for their service plan. That's right, you have to pay extra for customer service! You can't cancel without paying the termination fee so you are forced to pay for a service you can't use or pay more money to have it fixed. I regret ever signing up for directv in the first place. Now I have no way out.

~SaraFrey: I'd give them a two out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~SaraFrey: I'd give them a one out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about DirecTV's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~SaraFrey: For that I would say two out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other DirecTV customers?
~SaraFrey: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for DirecTV to know who you are.
