~Disgusted: I have been a customer of Direct Tv for many years. In **** the NFL channel was added without my knowledge I called and had it cancelled asking that they NEVER do that again. **** it was added to my bill again and when I called to complain was told that once it has been started it could not be stopped. I was told I would have to wait until the season ended then could have my money refunded. I thought this was rediculous but waited. I called to cancel and was now told my ***.** for a channel I never watched or ordered, could and would not be refunded. My previous phone call was documented in the computer. I went through three different people, two of whom were supposed to be supervisors. When I asked to speak to his supervisor I was told only the CEO of the company was next over him. I do not believe any of them were supervisors. Direct TV is a joke!!!!!
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting DirecTV. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a DirecTV problem?
~Disgusted: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Disgusted: I'd give them a one out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about DirecTV's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Disgusted: For that I would say four out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other DirecTV customers?
~Disgusted: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for DirecTV to know who you are.
