~Sjf301: Regarding the instructions to talk to a person: It took a few "I don't have it" to get it to stop asking for a phone or account number. Then we waited on hold to be transferred to another department. We wanted to reschedule our appointment and were only given a few other available times which didn't work for us so we had to keep our original appointment. Oh and they expect you to wait around for * hours for them to show up for your appointment. Typical deplorable TV provider behavior.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting DirecTV. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a DirecTV problem?
~Sjf301: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Sjf301: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about DirecTV's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Sjf301: For that I would say four out of five.

~Sjf301: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for DirecTV to know who you are.
