GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's DirecTV customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~DallasUptown: Sam's sold package and specifically noted the need for * story ladder. Sent beat up Ford Explorer with *ft ladder after I took the day off. Rude on the phone when asked why they sent someone without the proper equipment, "they aren't required to carry that ladder". Why did you sell me something that up front you knew you couldn't deliver? " Because you wanted it." I really wanted to take a day off for nothing. Yup. Still waiting for customer svc supervisor to call back. *Not sure if lied to at Sam's as well regarding the fact it would never go up in price. He wouldn't put that in writing.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting DirecTV. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a DirecTV problem?
~DallasUptown: I'd give them a two out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~DallasUptown: I'd give them a three out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about DirecTV's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~DallasUptown: For that I would say five out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other DirecTV customers?
~DallasUptown: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for DirecTV to know who you are.
