~hotshot309: Their DirectPay system is set up so that if you want the entire balance to pay from your bank account every month ON the day it's due and not before, you have to tell the system to debit the minimimum payment plus a fixed amount. One month, my fixed amount was not high enough, so that automatic payment didn't cover the whole balance. I was charged finance charges and didn't see what happened until almost a month later. I called them and explained, and since I pay off my balance every month, they waived the finance charges without my even asking. They also helped me with a couple of other things--no problem. They did mention a sales offer while I was on the call, but the rep was not pushy about it. She also thanked me for my business since ****.

~hotshot309: I'd give them a three out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~hotshot309: I'd give them a four out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Discover's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~hotshot309: For that I would say five out of five.
