~kei: kept getting "refused" for free credit report via mail, with a vague generic response letter that said to send personal documents. i sent the personal documents twice and got the same response letter both times. called this number and the rep said they didnt have a file for me, and the company who next checked my credit would need to create the file for me by sending my personal documents to equifax.

~kei: I'd give them a two out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~kei: I'd give them a one out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Equifax's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~kei: For that I would say two out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Equifax customers?
~kei: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Equifax to know who you are.
