~Golden Rule vs T&R: DECEPTIVE MARKETING RE "REFUNDABLE" TICKETS.*Beneath the "Non-stop flights ONLY" option is a "Refundable Tickets ONLY" option. Apparently this is simply a marketing technique and silly me did not read the fine print, the terms and ageements we all just click on to get on with our lives. Expedia's poor CSR people had to sit there and tell me that I should have read what I was signing. They were as polite as possible, but "could not refund the ticket". Those are the rules. My husband is cancelling his Expedia account after * years of extensive use.**I put average for quality of service*communication--in fairness they did the best they could with the corporate prison they are caught in.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Expedia. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Expedia problem?
~Golden Rule vs T&R: I'd give them a two out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Golden Rule vs T&R: I'd give them a three out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Expedia's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Golden Rule vs T&R: For that I would say two out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Expedia customers?
~Golden Rule vs T&R: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Expedia to know who you are.
GetHuman: Well there you have it. Some useful feedback and words from ~Golden Rule vs T&R taken from his Expedia customer service problem that occurred on October 30th, 2017.
