~Frank Foodie: I had been craving Famous Dave's rib tips...those tender, smokey, tender little morsels of love. I hadn't been there for a year or so, as I'm on a budget, but I started a new job and I deserved a special splurge. I ordered a meal of ribs tips and BBQ chicken 'to go'. Turned out to be NOT so special. Extremely disappointing. What had they done to their ribs tips? What was I chewing on? They surely were NOT rib tips. I thought maybe cow ankles? Seriously!!! Each piece had several weird 'fat cords'- not tubes like a artery, ick, but solid weirdness running through the dry, jerky like 'meat'. **Maybe those fat cord things were injected into pieces of awful quality meat? Maybe the meat hadn't cooked long enough for the fat to melt???? Just a thought. Horrible. Beans were nasty too. *** beans in a pool of baked bean water. Chicken? Well, I think it was chicken. A tiny, tasteless, anorexic chicken. Sad, sad day. Save your money! They've changed and they're never coming back.
