GetHuman-grimwood: Controlling uploader
GetHuman: Can you tell the rest of us a bit more from what happened on 11/28/17?
GetHuman-grimwood: "I really valued Flickr. I could sort my photographs on my computer, delete the unwanted ones, edit them and then upload completed albums to Flickr when I was satisfied. The new uploader stole every photograph and other graphic from my computer, including scanned documents and after three days declared everything was now uploaded. I turned it off to delay uploading, but when I turned it on again it started again and took another two days uploading everything it had already uploaded. Is the old uploader still available so I, rather than you control my Flickr site? The hassle of finding an alternative that does what I want is the only reason I am offering you the chance to help me resolve the problem. Please do not assume that because your techies get excited about features we lesser mortals actually want them thrust upon us. Roy Grimwood"
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Flickr. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Flickr problem?
GetHuman-grimwood: I'd give them a two out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
GetHuman-grimwood: I'd give them a three out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Flickr's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
GetHuman-grimwood: For that I would say four out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Flickr customers?
GetHuman-grimwood: Try to deal with them early in the day or later. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Flickr to know who you are.
GetHuman: Well there you have it. Some useful feedback and words from GetHuman-grimwood taken from his Flickr customer service problem that occurred on November 28th, 2017.
