~Gulfresident: There is no sense in calling Monday or Tuesday mornings. Got through twice in the early afternoon after trying over and over for hours. *If you do get though they can't really give you information because the departments are not connected. If they mix up and loose your information they told me they will toss them if each document does not have a case number on it. You don't know if they received your information until you get a denial letter and then the whole application process starts over, taking ** or more days. Don't fax them ANYTHING -- scan and upload your information in your online account. If, after an interview, you ever get an email address -- hang on to it: it might be from your case worker and these are difficult to come by! We are going the second month without food stamps because they said they didn't receive our fax. Sorry for everyone that is in desperate need! You'll need strong nerves!
