GetHuman-michalll: Terrible experience, never again
GetHuman: Can you tell the rest of us a bit more from what happened on 11/22/17?
GetHuman-michalll: Our tax preparer retired so we decided to try H&R Block. We brought our previous years taxes, our mileage, donations, information on my home office, etc. The woman didn't look at any of it. She basically filled out an online form, charged us $***, and then filed our taxes wrong. They got kicked back because she transposed my first and last name. I had cashed out an IPERS account since I lost my job and we needed to pay bills, and of course they took **% since I'm before retirement age. She told me to call IPERS and tell them there was a hardship and see if they would give my **% back, which made no sense to me but I did it. The customer representative at IPERs was very confused, saying that should be my tax preparer's job when filing. This was such a terrible experience for us that we will never use H&R Block again.

GetHuman-michalll: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
GetHuman-michalll: I'd give them a three out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about H&R Block's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
GetHuman-michalll: For that I would say four out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other H&R Block customers?
GetHuman-michalll: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for H&R Block to know who you are.
