~agseventyfour: I got Huges net about two months ago. After awhile it got slower and slower. I called in to correct it, spent about three hours fooling around and finally they just turned up the speed back to where it should be. A couple weeks later it is slow again very slow. I called back, they want to do the same thing again, I am fed up with it and cancelled it. I know my equipment is excellent as I get blazing fast speed on the same computer connecting to my iphone which I will be using from now on. Beware of this service, I did read reviews before taking it and kind of dismissed them cause they were generally bad ones for Huges. Now I believe them. This is the worst trash I've EVER been sold. You can try it but will cost you $*** to get out of it once you sign on. Be very careful out there!

GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~agseventyfour: I'd give them a two out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about HughesNet's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~agseventyfour: For that I would say three out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other HughesNet customers?
~agseventyfour: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for HughesNet to know who you are.
