~Jess : Yeah. It was afternoon, on November 16th.

GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's HughesNet customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~Jess : This company is horrible! I have had so many problems with Hughesnet!! If my internet goes out and I have to call the company I end up not getting anything resolved through them, I always get disconnected and they NEVER call back. I normally have to fix the internet problems myself after they have sent a signal. They tried re-installing my dish at one point and * days later someone came out to fix it and we found out that the re-install didn't work because the company locked the satellite on their end so it couldn't move to find signal! Now today I spent * hours on the phone with them, disconnected twice and only for them to tell me that because my husband name isn't the primary name on the account they wont honor Military orders and want me to pay a $*** cancellation fee!! After my husband called them from Korea they finally agreed to cancel it and wave the fee but we would have to fax his orders to them...they couldn't even give us an e-mail to send his orders too!! Imagine an intern

~Jess : I'd give them a three out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Jess : I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about HughesNet's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Jess : For that I would say one out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other HughesNet customers?
~Jess : Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for HughesNet to know who you are.
