~Alex R: So I called these guys before because they messed up with picking my order: they got me * no. * instead of a no. * and a no. * of one of the pieces I ordered. Doesn't need to be a very big deal but: the first time I called they took "note" and were supposed to call me back in ** hours. Now this is about my call just now: it took a good ** minutes before getting someone on the line, then after a very short introduction and giving her the code it went silent for nearly another ** before she came back and explained that she'd transfer me. More silence and again close to ** mins before she told me the dept she was transfering me too was closed.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Ikea. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Ikea problem?
~Alex R: I'd give them a three out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Alex R: I'd give them a four out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Ikea's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Alex R: For that I would say one out of five.

~Alex R: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Ikea to know who you are.
