~bc: I have filled Illinois State Tax return in Fev ****. To this date I did not receive my refund check. Part of the problem is because we are a military family that do not reside in Illinois. We are here on military order and thus we do not owe state taxes to Illinois but to the state we are residents of. Unfortunately, Illinois tax 'specialist' was not familiar with Illinois laws regarding military personnel. After a lot of letters going back and forth I got frustrated and requested an administartive hearing...surprisingly after my request, I got a letter acknowledging that my claim is correct and that I will receive the refund Illinois owed me. To this day, November **th, **** I have not received my state income tax return. I called their *-*** nr. couple of times and was told I will receive the check soon..soon, will be the * year anniversary since I have filled my state tax return... I am very frustrated because there is no gov. official or organization that I know I can contact in or
