~takobaka: I applied for credit. The idea was to purchase an appliance and save *% with their credit card deal. I earn about $**,*** a year, have no major credit issues, and have never received a new credit line of less than $**** or so (since the age of ** - I am now **). So Lowe's approves me for $***. Not only can I not purchase the appliance with the card, which means I also forgo the deal, but now I'm stuck with a waste-of-time credit line. So I cancelled it. They were actually surprisingly efficient in cancelling it, it was all done by machine (via phone) within * minutes of the credit approval. So no hassle there. $*** won't even get me a ***oz. of gold these days. Useless IMHO.

~takobaka: I'd give them a five out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~takobaka: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Lowe's Credit's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~takobaka: For that I would say five out of five.

~takobaka: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Lowe's Credit to know who you are.
