~Cymphony: After ** minutes, I was transferred to a supervisor. The phone rang ** times and then disconnected. This is the *rd time I have called in for the same issue. I have been promised twice an email within ** hours. That has not happened! It seems Macy's is happy to sell e gift cards, but make it impossible for the receipant to access them, to use in their store. You MUST have a bar code for store use. Of course the e gift cards do not have that code on them. You must click to another screen to access. This is where Macy's makes it impossible to retrieve the bar code.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Macy's. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Macy's problem?
~Cymphony: I'd give them a two out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Cymphony: I'd give them a one out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Macy's's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Cymphony: For that I would say four out of five.

~Cymphony: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Macy's to know who you are.
