GetHuman-paulkoum: Oncor's electrical malfunction caused damages to residential equipment
GetHuman: Can you tell the rest of us a bit more from what happened on 11/24/17?
GetHuman-paulkoum: Dear Oncor,* The following conversations are the history of this issue:**(*)*Friday June **,**** @ *:** pm**See, *.** MB attached compensation demand emailed to Oncor and TXU**(*)*Tuesday June **,**** @ **:** pm**See, *.** MB attached bill w*opinion Oncor’s equipment failure caused home damages**Dear Michelle,* Please note the amount of compensation claimed is $***.** while the attached receipt is for $***.**, and this receipt shows Cole Air Conditioning’s professional opinion that “power turning on and off before I got there. In my opinion is what caused the fuse to pop.” Therefore, I conclude causation is clearly based on Oncor Energy’s maintenance issue at the specific time and pole cited in the original email, we must be compensated for our inordinate amount of time and energy spent working to correct the issue at our end (not to mention disruption of our businesses) for three days prior to Oncor’s actually repairing said maintenance issue, which Oncor now knows that this flickering lights*power issue was outstanding for * days and affected four customers in total including us @ **** County Road ****. I hope the requested compensation amount will be found beneficial to TXU and Oncor and that you will agree to our requested $***.** credit. Should you agree I will then consider the matter closed. Basically, we are asking for the amount it cost to repair the A*C and our time, energy and business losses, based on showing in our originaL EMAIL Oncor causing the damages by the pole switch issue affecting four customers here including us. If we receive $***.** compensation in electrical credits, we will consider the matter closed. Thank you, Paul & Kay.**(*)*Wednesday June **,**** @ **:** am**Good morning,**At this time your claim has been forwarded to Oncor for review.**The claim will be addressed with regard to the receipt that was provided.**For any and all information in regard to this claim please contact Oncor at *** ***-****.**This issue will be addressed by Oncor alone with no involvement of TXU Energy from this point.** *Michelle Due*Office of the CEO*(office) ***.***.**** *(fax)*.***.***.**********@***.com ***(*)*This email. (Michelle: Would you please forward this email to Oncor, as surely mine will nopt get there?)**The issue here is on before and up to June *,****, Oncor’s pole ********* “bad cutout switch” caused “flickering lights and power” to affect customers in my neighborhood including myself, according to Oncor ticket *T*******. This malfunction of Oncor’s equipment caused my HVAC system to cycle on and of repeatedly until a fuse blew in the system as I now know, requiring me to call the HVAC technicians that installed the system to repair it, and me to spend my time and resources on chasing TXU and Oncor to address their liability on this issue. Therefore, I respectfully request that compensation be provided to me in the amount of $***.**. Please be advised that if this matter continues to go unaddressed and both TXU and Oncor (who obviously act together in delivering electricity services to my neighborhood) continue to refuse to take responsibility for their causing the described damages to my home and person, I will be forced to file a claim in a Henderson County court of law for damages.**Please respond ASAP, Paul Koumjian & Kay Whitsitt.**NOTE: ATTACHMENTS WOULD NOT COPY HERE*
