~duffy: Shocked is the word that comes to mind when I am treated poorly by people I pay through my insurance plan. On hold for ** minutes and then a dial tone. Another hold for **-** minutes and told to hold on while a password was being updated to my account. Then a click and a recording asking me if I wanted to take a survey. You bet I did. They also lied to my doctor about a prescription being sent to them. They said that the fax number was incorrect on the script that my doctor had written. Funny - it's been the same for ** years now. They continue to lie about everything they do. Never use this company again. Better to pay retail than wait for a prescription that will never be filled. Also, I don't want medication from all over the world. OptumRx couldn't even furnish me with a Lot number on one of my medications. I think that is a requirement in the United States.

~duffy: I'd give them a three out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~duffy: I'd give them a one out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about OptumRx's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~duffy: For that I would say five out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other OptumRx customers?
~duffy: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for OptumRx to know who you are.
