GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's PayPal customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~lornalisa: I sold an item as is with no returns that is worth a lot of money on Ebay. Paypal received payment from buyer. Buyer received the item. According to Paypal,funds can be released sooner once delivery of item is verified. Paypal customer service agent personally called the receiving party and the trucking company I used to ship the item to confirm it was delivered. I called Paypal to facilitate release of funds but according to them, unfortunately the funds cannot be released until the date indicated. I am very frustrated at this point. I'm out of the item which I paid for shipping, I'm paying for Paypal's hefty fee and in the meantime they have the use of the funds. I don't think this is a fair practice when I have fully performed my duty as a seller. I am ready to file a complaint.

~lornalisa: For that I would say five out of five.

~lornalisa: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for PayPal to know who you are.
