There are long telephone waits to just get a customer service rep on the line. Today I did not receive an item I had ordered and it was an important item to me. After a ** minute wait I finally got a rep on the phone. However, I wanted to report the poor telephone service to Peapod and she gave me a customer number where there was just more prompts and I never got through. I even tried calling other peapod numbers and at one number they said they were closed (this was **:** am on a Friday, and another number I called the telephone was never answered. I then tried to e-mail and was told their e-mail was not working, something about a default. I have been a Peapod customer for over ** years, and I just dread it when I have to call about something because I always have such a long wait, and I even had a problem with their calling me back procedure.
